Our latest news... our great new singer Anjali Perin will be with us on our future live dates, the next one is April 28th at The 100 Club, see gig page for details. Lizzie Scott has had her baby (little Louis) and with hubby Paul have moved back to the land of Oz! We wish her all the best... Meanwhile we are currently recording with Anjali and our fantastic new pianist and vocalist Nick Dawson.
Alex Garnett is back from recording in New York and is now singing as well as playing saxophone for us, so along with some new arrangements from bass player and bandleader Simon Thorpe, watch out for some close-harmony vocals! This band has it all!
Jivin' Miss Daisy play authentic arrangements from Count Basie, Duke
Ellington, Fletcher Henderson and Charlie Barnet as well as arrangements
specially written by bandleader Simon Thorpe. With
musicians hot-foot from playing with acts like Jools Holland, Stacey Kent, Bryan
Ferry and
Ray Gelato's Giants, this really is an all-star band.
